Hi, I’m Lolly and I’m the author of Lolly’s Sweet & Savory Treats. My real name is actually Laurel, but my family members and childhood friends have been calling me Lolly for as long as I can remember. I live in Columbus, Ohio with my wonderful husband and  taste-tester, Robert, and our delightful chocolate lab and walking partner, Athena. I am a physical therapist and I love to cook, bake, and entertain. I also enjoy being active and my favorite heart-pumping activities  include: running, swimming, and snow-skiing.

I started Lolly’s Sweet & Savory Treats as a hobby to improve my amateur baking, cooking, and photography skills. I also wanted to challenge myself to become more dedicated to making food from scratch and limiting the amount of processed and pre-packaged food Robert and I consume. It’s not always easy, but it’s always satisfying creating nutritious food with one’s own hands.
